Authorised Use Only

CDIS is a restricted Government information system. Access is permitted only to authorised users for official duties assigned to their role, jurisdiction, and department. Any other use is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary or legal action.

User Responsibilities
  • Keep username, password, OTP, and session access confidential.
  • Do not allow any other person to use your login session.
  • Use only accurate official information and approved documents.
  • Immediately report suspected compromise, wrong access, or suspicious activity.
  • Logout after completing work, especially on shared or office systems.
Prohibited Activity
  • Unauthorised login attempts, password sharing, OTP sharing, or impersonation.
  • Uploading false, malicious, forged, or unauthorised documents.
  • Attempting to bypass captcha, encryption, role access, or audit logging.
  • Copying, scraping, tampering with, or disclosing official data without authority.
  • Using automated scripts, scanning tools, or developer tools to interfere with CDIS.
Violations may lead to account suspension, audit review, departmental action, and action under applicable cyber/security laws and Government rules.

The e-Nigrani (CDIS) platform — including its security architecture, role-based access controls, audit trail system, encrypted communications, and captcha-protected login — was designed and developed by EcoNet Org in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre, Jammu & Kashmir. EcoNet Org is responsible for the platform's technical design, development, and ongoing security features.
